Was just was a bit concerned about resale value on that one, m4l, as the building is something like 75% renters and so no-one can get a mortgage there (not a problem for me now, but it would be if I tried to sell at any point).

I’m sure they’ve gone up in price.
modern alternative:
buy new frames on Ebay at 1/3 price.
have optometrist fit frames with prescription.
200-300 bucks tops.
or,
you can have everything done online these
days for 150, if you don’t need designer frames.
