  1. Thanks all. You’ve shaken the cobwebs out of my mind. Gartner, Forrestal and (similiarly) IDC. Let me start with them.

    I’ve been given the task to try to find a new area of business for my company in the US market. We had an internal brainstorming session the other day, and couldn’t come up with a substantial list – which is a pretty sad commentary on the prospoects for the manufacturing sector in the US.

  3. machine not that old. And already would have owed the $75 service call. What I didn’t now when he did give price was that the part was only about $10…I just thought was expensive part.
    And new machine would mean delivery charge, sales tax, and a 1/2 day off from work to wait for delivery guys that probably would not want to lower the machine into cellar thru hatch. (something that the local guys would do).
