is monday appliance repair persons day off?
I need someone to fix washing machine. I call that FatherandSon mentioned on brownstoner and just get message from his wireless to call back..no voice mail.
Then I find some place on Court St…and call and no answer and no answering machine.
The 5th Avenue Street Fair was much better than the typical Manhattan Street Fairs. Less dental tools and defective Hanes underwear and socks and more Brooklyn specific art, crafts, products, etc.
“The people in the pages you are about to read all exhibit class symptoms of house lust – a condition that will last well after the commotion surrounding the current boom-and-bust cycle is a distant memory. How did home renovations come to routinely turn families’ lives upside down? Why do so many people decide to start investing in real estate, or quit good jobs to seek a fortune selling houses? Why did we overbid on “hot” properties that are getting colder by the minute? How did house lust become so contageous?”
i cant wait to get into that book, i read the first few pages but i need to finish the book im currently reading about the old bowery when it was populated by real hobos and not today’s phauxbos
Where’s ArCATy? ArCATy, Biff can attest to the fact that, not only did I hold the Champs’ balloons for a while, but I got myself a balloon (which could explain why the Champions “lost” me in the crowd) as a self-immersion technique, and then I handed it off to a toddler as I was leaving. No nightmares last night at all.

DIBS, if you got the oppty, take those $200 Flyer Suite tickets. trust me, that’s a sweet deal.
She just did my shoulders, *rob*, as I escaped from her clutches.
Biff, if you hadn’t said anything to the guy, he would’ve thought I was just a very large kid and let me stay.
CGar, welcome to the team
Isn’t there a gay parade every day on 5th Avenue?
Rob – She thought you needed a little vagina area grinding. She was sharing her “gifts” with you. 🙂
