Denton…for a few years he was a ward of the state. He was in a coma for some 6 months or so and then released to some halfway house run by Indian nuns of some sort. he then got into trouble again and I believe was charged with felony assault and locked up. Then, all of a sudden, he was deported.
He has severe neurological problems, AIDS and a host of other things.
“DH – really? well I think you might be the minority – most people didn;t run out to buy it and it’ slipping in the charts
however next up: Band Of Horses”
Yeah – I think lots of people only liked their poppy hits and didn’t realize what kinda band they really were. I just hope they go back to playing smaller venues – I have no desire to see ANYONE play at Radio City. 🙁
Band of Horses is great – I’m seeing them this summer in Wburg – they’re playing with Grizzly Bear, should be sweet!
Rob, the door-door census folks were out in force and it looked like very cushy gig making big bucks. you should’ve signed up man cause it looks super easy money
“he was sick before they deported him and I thought they could not do that.”
dibs, I’m sure legion can confirm this, but in the screwed up health care system that we have, whereby we pretend we are a humane society by forcing hospitals to give free care without providing funding for same, some hospitals, confronted with having to care for patients that could run bills into seven figures, have taken these matters into their own hands. they have been hiring medical planes and delivering these people to their home countries, and I suppose to their deaths.
true, long time ago happened…but demand for office space has been down for more than a year.
I agree about so-called special interest groups, and very politically charged (for example – here today all about some mosque being built around there). Even fact that want to build something that market probably doesn’t want is very much political/emotional response. ANd of course, all that sacred ground concept…if I were some capitalist bank-I wouldn’t touch it.

“Apparently, the Muslim group developing the site bought what was formerly the Burlington Coat Factory building. ”
Ahh, that’s it slopey, that was the site of the ORIGINAL mosque that no one seems to have heard of.
Agree with Snappy at 2:50.
