  1. “they were also mad pissed at us for calling them for a flood. isnt that who you are supposed to call? cuz the flood caused a fire alarm in the office to go off.”

Any decent size office building, a sprinkler going off will summon the NYFD. Was it from a sprinkler?

Next time tell them to call Master Plumber, not 911!

ew at the thought of people REUSING the same toothbrush over and over. you are supposed to use a new tooth brush EVERYDAY people!

    *rob*

-no wonder ur broke! that’s an expensive habit to have

  3. -um yes but someone who is 27 and has a good body SHOULD wear something skintight if they wish not someone who is 12 and jsut got their their boobies!”

Sure. Hey, believe me I’m not complaining. I’m just saying that kids tend to emulate their role models, and parents are willing and unwilling role models. But then again our whole society frequently urges young people to dress in a sexually suggestive manner. Some kids are just not equipped to weigh their choices in the best manner.

  4. And to the more civil posters,

allow me to say this much.
I respect your defense of religious tolerance and
your efforts to right a world which has too much
    discord.
At the same time, you must acknowledge, if only through
common sense, that there is a clear history and intent
behing many of the events of the past 20-30 years,
    from Beirut onward.

but sometimes it seems quite clear here that posters
lose the forest through the trees.
I imagine this is what it’s like within a nation where a people are slowly being led to destruction.

appeasement has never been effective foreign policy,
nor will it be effective policy in dealing with
the continued threats to our nation.

after all, it was only a week ago that we narrowly averted a tragedy in Times Square.

    Mezquita.
    Beautiful indeed.

“But they built an altar in the middle of it.”

Looks odd and so out of place among the moorish inspired architecture.

  6. Hey Wasder, I went to this family reunion thing over the weekend, where I always shoot a bunch of photos, including fairly formal groupings. I decided to try out the video capability of my Canon 5D MkII, and one of Canon’s best lenses, the 85 1.2. While there are a lot of DLSRs now with video capability, the 5D is one of a very few with a full frame sensor.

I don’t know a damn thing about video and the results showed it, but I have to say when I looked at the results on my 52″ plasma TV, the results (from a technical perspective) were really awesome.

I wonder if this is going to do to video what DSLRs did to film cameras.

Gem, my issue was only about 2% outfits (no worse really than a child’s bikini). I took issue with the grinding, pelvic thrust, non-existent boobie grabbing, etc. I understand modern dance, technique, skill, difficulty, etc. but I just don’t feel comfy with little girls doing such sexually suggestive moves. I suppose if their parents were ok with it, it’s not my business in the end. But I do have to say, if I had a 7 yr old girl and sent her off to a dance class and she came back gyrating like that, me and the dance teacher would be going toe to toe.

    – you have a valid point snaps – I’ll agree with that part too – it was a bit over-the-top with the gyrating – agreed!
