  1. “tybur6, none of these jackasses with their cut and paste doom and gloom actually know the definition of recession or depression.”

and the Hedge Fund Jackasses. Euro Zone Detonation in 5.. 4.. 3.. 2.. 1..

    The What

Someday this war is gonna end..

  2. “Tax revenue is not dead. The tax *structure* is dead and the legislators are too busy with their thumbs in their bung holes to fix it.”

We live in a age where people can access information in a matter of seconds. NY State tax woes are on the front pages! New York City and State is very dependent on Wall Street and Real Estate values, that’s why the propping of the Mutant Asset Bubble continues.

    From 2009
New York Income Tax Revenue Falls 36% in Year, Paterson Says

    Lookie here!

Wall Street companies lost $42.6 billion last year and year-end bonuses to workers fell 44 percent to $18.4 billion. Income tax receipts were down 24 percent as of Aug. 31, according to the state comptroller’s office. Paterson’s estimate includes data since then.

“It serves no one and hurts the most vulnerable the worst. 20% off someone making $130,000 compared to 20% off someone making $40,000.”

    Welcome to America, stop whining!

“Not to mention “We are in a Depression get used to it!” is a ****** loser point of view. We’re in a bad situation, let’s embrace it! ***** idiot.”

It’s call REALITY, kind of like GRAVITY when you walk off a roof! I don’t delude myself with wishful thinking, that’s what’s wrong with America. Entitled, Whinny and crybaby state. What happen to hard work and saving for something you want?? I know the Big Bigs made a giant tit for all to suck on. You better Man Up baby because New York is not the place for that attitude..

Ether we reduce spending or lay everyone off! Time has ran out..

    The What

Someday this war is gonna end..

  3. “I’m a successful immigrant (vs. a 24/7 whiner) so I’m more New Yorker and more American than you.”

I’m an unsuccessful immigrant who whines 24/7. I guess I’ll never be a real New Yorker / American.

  4. DIBS, I’ve posted that before here many times. Not so much the part about “lazy ass entitled” Americans, but more about how hard working, middle to upper class near and far east Asians have made significant positive contributions in Canada, particularly in larger cities such as Toronto and Vancouver. They’re generally better educated and harder working than the average North American (IMHO). They’re also wonderful neighbours; willing to help if needed but not overbearing or nosy.

  5. Lebron would certainly have gotten booed even more vigorously at the Garden than he did last night for a shitty game like that. However a sour ending to his season in Cleveland can only make it more likely that he will come here. And he has stepped up in big games before. Last night was weird–like he was in a trance or something and just couldn’t get into it.

Re Shaq–its always a little sad to see dominant players at the end but he has had a pretty damn good run.

I’m a successful immigrant (vs. a 24/7 whiner) so I’m more New Yorker and more American than you.

I don’t want to go after tybur specifically on this but m4l has a really good point about society as a whole. Recent immigrants have a far better work ethic as a whole than the lazy ass entitled mentality of most US citizens.
