“The issue with the new NY license plates is that they have mandated adoption by all vehicles just to drive revenues.”
Nope Jackasses! The New License Plates have a RF Technology built in. Cops cars can scan the plate and the information feeds into the computer! So if you’re ‘Riding Dirty’ or wanna to pay tolls this is the new way to go!
Arcaty, first, I agree with Dave that it’s being done to generate revenue; in fact, I read there’s an extra charge if you want to keep your current plate number when you get the new plates (I could care less). I had also thought there was some legal issue, along the lines of New Jersey owning most of Ellis Island, but I can’t recall what the legal issue might be. Leave it to the effing lawyers though. But the “new” colors are intended to harken back to the glory days of the 70s.
“i always thought trees were overrated.”
I guess you’ve never hugged a tree.
Yeah, when I first saw the new tags I thought, “Wait, that’s not an antique car!” Tag is very retro.
Harder to borrow, m4l.

The What
Someday this war is gonna end..
Have they done a quantitative analysis of the 3 or 4 year growth of the xmas trees as carbon eaters compared to carbon generation of mulch?

I’ve got one word for you (tree cutters): entropy.
“Great argument for xmas tree farms!”
No!! X-mas trees end up getting chipped and used as mulch, or maybe burned. Carbon ends up back in the air.
DIBS, isnt FSLR a bigger player in EU solar?
