Only if you think from an American-centric viewpoint. Otherwise the emphasis on “American” deaths/injuries is unnecessary. You see the reaction (even on this site) about unreasonable retaliation, communal punishment, bomb the bastards back to the Stone ages etc. It’s a direct result of fanning the flames. WE are better, we are more valuable than those [enter III world epithet here]. It happened in Korea, in Vietnam, in Iraq I and II, it’ll happen forever. I’m afraid we’re a bloodthirsty nation.
Wasder — Thanks! I think the new apartment is gonna be great. The building is beautifully maintained. It has laundry and bike parking. It has a garage too, but I’m a cheap bastard that parks on the street. Oh, and get this, the kitchen has a dishwasher! Yeah, I know, someone thought it might be a great idea to spend the huge amount of money to add a basic modern convenience. (and I’m being sarcastic about the huge amt of money)
Oh, and of course The What isn’t happy with what the BID is doing for Fulton. If I have caught on to his usual rant, this is just doomed to fail because Whitey-the-Man doesn’t know what the post-apocalyptic roaming gangs want. And this is what New York is all about. Any improvements to the city will be short-lived and will end in bloodshed. Luckily all of his friends carry guns. Or something like that.
