  1. Rob — the co-op thing is secondary. It was all about the location, price and it being really nice. The co-op part seems a bit annoying, but I think it will be fine.

Pete — I don’t wear Lycra, thank you very much. I find people that change into racing gear to commute to work to be some of the most ridiculous folks around. And there are two elevators. If they don’t want to be dripped on, they can wait for the other one.

  3. congrats tyburg on finding a place. what made you choose to move into a rental that is in a co-op building? i lived in one of those in chelsea for a few years and i can honestly say that the apartment owners who live in the building really look their noses down at the renters and are always up in your business and complaining about stupid things. mine was having christmas lights in the window and smoking indoors (i was okay about the smoking thing tho, all they had to tell me was that they could smell it in their apt and i was fine with smoking outside) well except when one woman who fake cough then slam her window down.. but whatever she was batshi+ bananas. she was a professional animal trainer who insisted on teaching my dog proper behavior. she gave one free training session, came over to our apartment with a RUBBER HAND ON A STICK!!!! i dont know what she expected, but she wound up leaving with a broken stick. anyway sorry for the tangent, but christmas lights? who has a problem with lights during the holidays!?

  5. Wait until you get your new assessments in Jan 11. You will pay for the shinny new Stadium at Atlantic Center. Plus with interest rates going up (See Europe) I say the ghetto will revert back to the ghetto..

    The What (Thanks for playing)
