Yes, Lechacal, I do agree that by your definition every last one of us, without exception, is a racist. Nobody likes to admit it, but even a few minutes of self reflection will reveal that it’s 100% true.

For Pete’s sake, I was not criticizing your column, I was criticizing Mr. B.’s editorial vision for this web-site. I was responding to Slopey’s point that the Goth thread could just be seen as an architectural review. My point was that he has means to do that (your column, development watch, etc.) Rather than try to incorporate these type of homes in these regular columns (where criticism pro and con can be expected), he takes the time to feature them in special threads called “Horror Show Friday” or “Freaky Friday”, so as to invite class-based derision and snark.
