  1. “I suppose in that case I don’t understand why the emergency rooms couldn’t just send non-emergency patients home,”

Do you know a real emergency on sight? Neither do the e-room docs who have to waste their time with people just to get them back out the door.

lol, I like your 5 package plan.

I would only add the PLUSA package:
for those who work but spend too much
    time on internet blogs,
it would have a specific rider for internet
    doctor consults.

  3. Rob, I agree with you again! I’m sure a lot of people do, it’s just ugly to say. I mean, my mother has a ton of health problems and if she was born in a developing country there’s no way she’d be alive today. The fact that we are so close to good health care means that we feel we should all have access to it.

  4. if they are going to have universal health care they should have it in this form… Five levels of quality, just like everything else comes in levels of quality, why shouldnt healthcare?

the Scrub Care package for people on welfare who have NEVER worked in their life and rely on handouts for everything else.

the Lazy Care package for people who work menial jobs just to get by, slackers who pick out easy jobs, and the for the elderly.

the Unassetted Package for those with no assets but are still not drains on society.

the Asset Package for those with assets (home, boat, etc) but are still not drains on society

and the Paris Hilton Premium package where you get the best health care PLUS perks like boob surgery, free facelifts, free spa visits, etc.

    it would work out!
