I’m not disagreeing with your speaking out Benson, I’m just saying that more must be done than talking about it. Voting, in particular. When the politicians are corrupt, ya toss em out on their ears. Sure, these conversations here express our opinions, but do you really think anyone is changing their minds about anything here? We are all curmudgeons to one degree or another. We believe what we believe, and we believe it with all our hearts, whether the issue is finance, unions, the President, etc. When we find someone who agrees with us, it’s basically preaching to the choir. I highly doubt anyone is truly changing their views. But again, I certainly don’t mean to imply that a general discussion like this one shouldn’t be had.
Now gimme a tag line before I take your Borsalino and beat you with it 🙂
So I went out to dinner last night with my aunt who is an actress. She lives in L.A. and comes to NYC for a couple of weeks every spring to do theater stuff. Anyway I show up and there is this other lady there with her and turns out it’s the actress who played one of the wives on The Honeymooners (not the “in the kisser” wife, the other one). Kinda cool right? She’s in her late 80s but still does an amazing grace kelly impression.
Trixie, lechacal????? COOL.
Snappy, that brownie would come in handy if I catch you lighting up
Yes, how about “Keep ’em coming and something may stick!”
Cobble, you are a genius!
blowfish, did you get my email?
DeLepp…I like! Of course I like anything associated with glitter 🙂
“The Something May Stick Party!”
I’m not entirely sold…who else likes this one?
