I don’t know. I just can’t walk awy from a fight, I guess. He’s like Rob. Most of the time I can ignore his silly comments, but once in a while I feel compelled to challenge him when he embarks on (in my view) a particularly inane flight of fancy.
oh I don’t know, I had this funny notion in my mind that the National Organization for WOMEN was all about empowering WOMEN.
they should just rename it National Organization for Democratic Women and get it over with no? seriously.
if there is a litmus test on abortion, so be it.

As I stated before, I really don’t think Palin is the standard bearer of Republicans or Conservatives, I am simply pointing out the hypocrisy of the National Organization for Women not speaking up in her favor as a woman, while folks were attacking her about her marriage, her looks, her speech and most deplorably about her Down’s child.
Legion, why exactly would NOW *endorse* Sarah Palin merely because she’s a woman? That doesn’t make any sense. Talk about hitting a nerve. You’re trying to dictate NOW’s platform based on your own narrow view of that group *should* focus on. Ridiculous. Also, this is AMERICA, Legion. I am not necessarily a burkah lover but if a woman in this country wants to wear one, it’s her right, no matter what you or I think about it. Get a grip, man.

I even feel sorry for this man, he obviously had religious conviction, and there you see a broken man.
stripped bare for political gain.
in a nutshell, these are the politics of destruction,
not union.
I’m a little embarrassed to admit that I had a fling with Sarah Palin for about a week in 2008. Major crush beginning at the convention. I didn’t care what she read or where she could see from her porch. If I had it to do all over, prolly would’ve just stuck with Levi. Or Todd.
I hear St. Vincent’s has given up on inpatient care and reduced ER care by half.
It’s not a good sign.
These are the types of maneuvers tried by Victory memorial in Brooklyn and St. Mary’s and St. Joseph’s in Queens, but failed in the end.
St. Vincent’s has much community and political support but if it does survive, it will be a shell of it’s former self, sending most urgent care uptown.
they have a 700million dollar gap and wait till the provisions of the new healthcare bill kick in,
20% reduction in medicare reimbursements.
don’t see how they can survive without bigtime private support.
