Regarding heat, thermometers, ovens, etc. Kens, if you are cooking meat, it is a good thing to have a meat thermometer – you insert into into the chicken or whatever you are cooking to measure the internal temperature to see if it is done. The internal temperature of the beef, ham, lamb, etc. will vary depending on what you are cooking and how rare to well done you want. There are tables to let you know that.
