Thanks, guys. I also really want to go to Istanbul, but I heard that wouldnt be the best call for a single woman traveler. Been to Amsterdam, x2.

For something completely different, I would suggest the Azore Islands (especially the ones that don’t have the US Naval base on them). I once had to stay there when I was on a ocean voyage in my old position. The Azores still have the old European flavor to them (except for the island that has the naval base). Not just the buildings, but the actual way of life.
ENY: I’m trying to plan my next 4-5 day trip. Where do you suggest? My last was to Stockholm/Tallinn and I had a great time. Thinking Berlin.

Berlin in incredibly hot right now, and the nightlife may be the best in all of Europe right now. Lots of edgy culture there now. If you want something tried and true, where you can legally get high and everyone speaks English, you can’t beat Amsterdam. Another top option is Iceland – very cutting edge, really beautiful, relatively short flight.
CGar, cool. Sounds like a good trip. I’d love to go for longer (but if I had more time, I’d do Asia or Africa).
