I got invited to a couple’s home in the Heights for Easter dinner, for the second time. Last time I left at 9 p.m. when I decided if I had any more wine I was going to have trouble getting home.
The other attendees, mostly in their 60s and 70s, continued. “See you [Jester]!” One said to me, “This goes on until 11.” I had gotten there at 3 p.m.
“Are Christians supposed to have a family dinner on Holy Thursday?”
No special dinner. Most Churches will have some special service on the Thursday night, as well as Friday 12-3, Saturday night and Sunday morning.
I usually go Friday and Sunday at Easter.
It’s traditional to not to eat meat on Good Friday.

ROFL, *rob*!
Jessi, you now have me singing Dayenu! In Hebrew! And I don’t even know Hebrew!
