The Chinese woman optometrist with light brown hair is the best, and I am sure everything is cheaper than in Park Slope or Soho.
There are a bunch of other places on Hester St. a block south that are probably cheaper (one written up in The New Yorker magazine this week) but I can’t vouch for them.

No seriously though, there are some pretty parts outside of Northern NJ, but Northern NJ near metro NYC really is a wasteland. No apologies to you or Rob.

It’s directly across the street from the 1 and 9 subway station.
