  1. Morning everyone. Late start for me – too exhausted after the collective strong effort yesterday that got some coverage in the NYT today. Congrats Mr. B. Have to say, I was disappointed to find out that the playground has been on this site for six years though. Even more embarrassing that it took this long to become an issue.

  2. Only scent I like in the house is when the sheets are done with fabric softener. All else, no. Agree, open a window.

This is going to sound really creepy but then, that’s what I’m here for….

I can always smell some mexican immigrants because they ALL seem to use the same fabric softener on their clothes, and they use it heavily. It is a really nice clean smell but whenever there’s someone standing behind me for example on the subway, i can smell that a half a car away. For some reason i have a very keen sense of smell. Someday I’ll tell you stories about something else I can always sense. it will be far more creepy.

  3. I grew up being afraid of botullism, avoided dented cans of soup for that reason. Now people are paying to shoot up with nerve paralyzing toxins. I remember seeing Teresa Heinz (remember her) giving some kind of talk during the 2004 election campaign. She looked DEAD. And I realized she couldn’t MOVE HER FACE. She paid to look like a DEATH MASK.

  4. I think same day sweat smells nicer than a lot of deoderants.

I’m actually with donatella. But I’m a total hippie when it comes to scents. All au naturale for me. I can’t stand scented sprays, candles, etc. in the home. Just open the window and let some air in. And I don’t like scented detergents. Nothing more delicious than the smell of laundry that has dried outside in the open air.
