I consider deoderant to be a product for boys who are going through puberty (when the hormone changes really make their sweat stink). Most people really don’t smell bad when they sweat as long as it doesn’t get old and rancid. The only exception I can think of is my brother in law, he smells something awful when he sweats, and he’s an athlete (circus performer) so he sweats all the time. He’s black, which when I was a kid always made me wonder if white people sweat smells any different from black people sweat. Over the years I haven’t gotten any further data points to suggest this to be the case.
I only liked shaved legs and arm pits on a woman, but only natural body hair on a guy. (I know we’ve had this OT discussion before – where are Cobble, Snappy and ET???)
so who hangs up the clothes outside in your family?
I’m all for it –just takes too long…and when I tried clothes all stiff when come off the line. Of course, I don’t use softeners or that stuff either.
Not crazy about scents either – aromatherapy, etc…probably ’cause lot of it makes me sneeze.
And I confess, I haven’t used deodorant in probably 25 years. (but I take couple of showers a day).
Some people do over-sweat but don’t think that is what cgar said…just during the exercises(walks) which is normal and I would think not good sense to try to stop that.
Fortch, Mrs C, thanks to her being Asian, has to shave her legs once every 12 months or so. And even when she does, there’s almost nothing there to shave. Wonder if The Champs will end up like that or inherit my Chewbacca-like genes. I think they already have more facial hair than my wife’s brother.
The Learning Channel just bought the rights to “Sarah Palin’s Alaska.” Too bad she never watched much of The Learning Channel.
