on 3rd avenue– around e49 to e51st streets—there seems to always be these young adults assertively soliciting for
children international or something like that.
Anyone see them on other avenues, too?
what do you make of it/them. I just ignore….feel bad that in tough economy that is only job they got but somehow sceptical that the ‘charity’ probably gives them good % of any money donated. Anyone know anything about the group?
Legion – Think about different people in your life, including on this site, and place them in the following categories. More than one category will likely apply.
1. I believe one set of ideas is better than others (for myself, for others, for society), and I am prepared to discuss and defend my view.
2. I believe that ideas that differ from my own are bad (for myself, for others, for society).
3. I believe those who disagree with me hold their views sincerely and without malice to their fellow man.
4. I attribute sinister motives to those who hold views different from mine.
5. I disagree with ideas but do not personally attack the people who hold them.
6. I personally attack people whose ideas differ from mine.
For what it’s worth, my more conservative friends are predominantly 1/3/5s (to count among my friends they have to be). And frankly there is no shortage of 2/4/6s among liberals.
I see that I haven’t missed much.
I’m usually a 1/2/3/5.

We have to, pete. Aren’t you in the sleep apnea union 😉

Uh, yeah, Pete, that must be it! ; )
No pete, they fell asleep reading it 🙂
IJ- Now that’s what I’m talking about. Take THAT! all you dog owners. Of course, there was also Anubis- but he was jackal headed, a cosmetic issue.
Jester – Very generous of you to share that! And it’s all oh, so true!
