It was very traumatic, ET.
My mother, who was away for 2 weeks, also cooked enough food for us for about 2 years. And, for good measure, she also stocked the pantry, refrigerator and freezer with foods to be prepared that would last us for another 2 years. Evil woman took all the food home for her family — every morsel, just like the Grinch who stole Christmas. She left some ground beef in the house and made us disgusting meatloaf instead, which we wouldn’t eat, and I’ve never eaten meatloaf again. Needless to say, my parents never had her stay with us again, and, when she died, I “danced on her grave in a red dress”.
rob, the 600 schools were supposedly where they send the incorrigibles. The kids they now send to special ed. I wasn’t sure if they existed but apparently they still do, see http://tinyurl.com/y97fkwn
“denton…we export software as well. We are the leader in software and the margins are much higher than any widgets of any sort that we can manufacture, including 747s.”
Sure dibs, but we’re not exporting enuf of anything, which is why we have a massive trade deficit, and the Germans and the Chinese don’t.
I’m afraid not, ET. The evil woman threw him out once. Our housekeeper (who couldn’t drive so this other woman had to stay with us too) retrieved him from the trash and patched him and sewed him back together and gave him back to me. Thursday was the housekeeper’s day off, as well as trash day. So, as soon as the housekeeper left, the evil woman threw him away again and made sure the trash men carted him away. Great way to teach a little kid separation anxiety.

CGar, that’s some story.
Maybe she knew you’d have no use for Shlumpy and wanted to harden you up for the real world.
CGar….
I feel the ice crack under my feet.
I feel the ice thinning down.
Whenever you’re around.
They used to threaten to send public school kids to the ‘600 schools’. Not sure if they ever existed tho.

Thin ice, ET.
“You should have yanked your Shlumpy away from her and hidden it in a safe place where no woman wants to go.”
