what are bets that Rob has the story a little off.
“apparently our company dropped health insurance as of Feb 1” —
apparently? – like you just got wind of this? How did get the info? Your insurance card was rejected?
Perhaps they changed insurance carrier or types of coverage Feb1? As always, I bet there is more to the story.
(but starting a union is always a good idea)
however if they deducted money from your check under false pretenses (for coverage that doesn’t exist) that’s a big time issue. Payroll is a personal liability. I imagine you’ll be getting that back.
a bunch of people are going to form a meeting today about it. honestly i dont even want to be part of it. some people went to their doctors after feb 1st only to get letters in the mail saying their coverage was terminated on feb 1st, yet their portion of their health insurance was coming out of their paychecks. things do not look very good, i also dont even feel comfortable talking about this on the internet at the moment..
My jalopy’s rug is always protected by plastic mats. However the protective mats do get grimy by all the snow. Every so often I take them out and scrub all the crevices.

True, denton, and many don’t. But to pull it without telling them and to continue billing is.

“Don’t like it, support a health care bill. It’s that simple.”
Exactly. I think a lot of Republicans might change their tune if the same thing happened to them as has happened to Rob.
” that’s fraud.”
Si. They may not be obligated, denton, but it is most certainly morally and ethically EFFED!
“That’s an egregious use of power by an employer.”
There is no legal obligation for an employer to offer health insurance. There are no legal issues, ERISA issues, or anything. That’s that.

rob, that’s fraud. You need to wave that in their faces. How big is this company???

“Texpert, do you use rug shampoo?”
