Does anyone have a cleaning person or crew that can scrub my apt.? And I mean scrub every nook and cranny, moving all the furniture to get to the corners, clean the windows, take down the blinds and wash them, scrub the grout like nobody’s business, etc. etc. Every spring I give my place a good scrub down, top to bottom. But this year I won’t be able to do it. My partner, while a neat person and will sweep and vacuum, he just doesn’t clean to my standards. Yes, I’m one of those neat freaks.
Any recommendations?
You are right, but ERISA may say something about terminating for existing employees. There may be various disclosures and other steps they must take. I don’t know ERISA but my sense is it imposes a lot of rules with regard to employee benefits that are provided. Maybe a dead end, but worth checking before ruling it out. An employment lawyer will know.
rob, you should stay in the loop on this one, even if passively. I know you are likely to take less care of yourself if you have no insurance. You want to keep abreast of what people are saying about what rights and obligations there may or may not be, here.
“some people went to their doctors after feb 1st only to get letters in the mail saying their coverage was terminated on feb 1st, yet their portion of their health insurance was coming out of their paychecks.”
“My jalopy’s rug is always protected by plastic mats. However the protective mats do get grimy by all the snow. Every so often I take them out and scrub all the crevices.”
I’d hardly call your cadillac a jalopy. And while I think it’s usually a good idea to let the carpet breathe, I guess I can’t argue with using protection. Maybe you should treat yourself and get it hand-detailed.
I see the ‘Raunch Hour’ has begun early today!

“I’ve thought about that. I usually do it myself as I don’t think I can find someone that will do the job to my satisfaction.”
I agree with you if we’re talking about the exterior, but I need help getting to the tough to reach spots on the interior.
