  1. Learn some magic tricks and juggling, rob. You will also need references. Lots of block parties hire magicians or clowns for some kiddie entertainment, so late spring you can make the rounds and check out the competition. If you have an act, make up some cared and start performing for donations, perhaps near one of the farmers’ markets. Lots of styles and approaches. Liam the Magician’s act is very different from Loonie Louie, for example (both are popular in our neck of the woods, so much so, that the 9 and up crowd has seen them too many times and is a bit bored with them).

  2. so ive been jotting down part time job ideas and one of them is to become a birthday party clown! i think it’s the complete opposite of anything id do but that’s a good thing cuz it’s healthy to get out of ones comfort zone! i wanna be a different kind of clown tho, not your typical bozo clown with the rubber ball nose and giant shoes (tho id love a pair of giant clown shoes).
