Frank Rich’s column is the first one I read on the weekend. I’m hard pressed to think of one time I’ve ever disagreed with anything he said. Although that might just be a function of the fact I’m so darn agreeable.
🙂
Most mindblowing science fact I know of is this exhibit they used to have at the Museum of Science in Boston. Something about being an immovable object in relation to earth’s spin on its axis. If you were to stand next to it, at the end of the day it would have shifted locations and be behind you (or something).
CGar, I think outdoor space is highly overrated unless it’s a backyard. And I say this as a person who had — and didn’t much use — a giant deck for 10 years. And if you’re stuck on that you really limit your options (esp if you have a dog!.. outdoor space and allows dogs? too limiting)
People who believe Fox News and Beck, of course, we can all enjoy.
btw, even the WSJ called Tea partiers “conspiracy theorists, antigov zealots, 9/11 truthers, and assorted other cadres of the obsessed and deranged”. Maybe there’s hope after all.
OOPS, that’s Frank Rich in the NYT…I’ll ignore that.
However the Letters section of the Daily News has an enormous amount of idiots in it every day.
I saw what you said on the restaurant thread, dibs. I always tell people how you whined and dined us 🙂
People who believe everything they read in the New York times, those are not the kind of people I enjoy.

I’m actually behind by 92,300,007 microsecs, Rich was in Sunday Opinion, ‘The Axis of the Obsessed and Deranged,’ all about the TP-ers. Great read.

cmu,
Didn’t catch Frank today, he’s not on my favorites list as you may know.
…what’s this about the day shortening by 1.26 microseconds?
Are the unions involved by any chance? 😉
