  1. The exercises will help, even just 5-10 minutes twice a day. I’ve had my neck lock up in times of stress, and it’s hell. I think I got my heating pad at your favorite — CVS! It’s made for necks with a switch you hold down while it’s heating and then let go when it’s hot enough. After a little time doing that, I then do the exercises — very gently. Helps me greatly.

    There’s a massage guy that works in Jamaica, but also comes to NYC a few times a year. He is a real miracle worker. I have lower back problems, too [from lifting boxes years ago] and he did some really wacky-seeming movements and pressure points on my outer hip/leg, and it resolved my lower back problem for months afterward! He’s an interesting character. I’ll email you his info, if you like.

  2. It could be stress, Biff. I’ve had problems with my neck quite a few times. A really good massage therapist can help. Have you tried a heating pad – they have one for necks. I use one and it’s great. A physical therapist can give you exercises to help, too.

    Also, sometimes changing how you sit at the computer at work helps.

  3. Cobble;
    it goes something like this,

    me; mira papi, no me estas entendiendo,
    te dije que no voy a votar por
    Obama.
    him; pero como puede ser, estas tocado?
    Bush is un mentiroso!
    me; otra ves con Bush?
    him; “click”

    😉
