  1. Thanks lesbiman. To be clear, the Champs were breast fed until they were 1 and then given 2% milk until 2 or so and now drink organic skim milk. The soy was more of an occasional treat and not a replacement for cow’s milk. But I would cut it out altogether if it’s really considered harmful.

  2. sweet – i don’t want my kid getting to Jr High and going to his first make out party and only be able to drink that mike’s hard lemonade shit. he’ll be rolling with a monogrammed flask of old overholt rye.

  3. Gem10, there might be a top floor 3 bedroom in my building going on sale soon for around $370-400K with 1K maintenance. It’s around 1,500 sq ft real 3 bedroom and 2 bath (good layout). Decent condition but might need some updating. If you might be interested, you can find me through CGar or sis.

  4. Biff,
For most toddlers, cow’s milk is generally a better choice because it is more nutrient dense and naturally contains more vitamins, protein and minerals than does soy milk. For example, a one-year-old still needs a diet relatively high in fat. Milk is a big source of fat in an infant’s diet.

Milk naturally contains a readily absorbable form of calcium, and has higher quality protein than soy milk. The ratio of protein, fat, and carbohydrates are also a good balance.
