I like 11217, and he knows that. No one has emailed the guy more than I have trying to get him to come out for drinks with us. I’ve even defended him on the blog many times, especially when stevieb and others attack him.
But 11217 knows I defend *rob* (not that *rob* needs me to defend him, and not that *rob* doesn’t invite attacks much of the time). And now that you all know what *rob* did for Snappy this weekend, you know why I was particularly not in the mood for *rob*-bashing yesterday. Not only did *rob* meet Snappy at an ungodly hour Saturday to get her keys, but he managed the key exchange with Arkady at Loki (I’m told after he was given directions to a place only 2 blocks from his apartment, lol), and then, when he was the first to feed the cats, he made a cat-care schedule and posted it in her kitchen. That’s a good friend.

NYC Lets You File Taxes Free Online According to Department of Consumer Affairs, over 2.5 million New Yorkers paid to have their taxes done in 2007. This year the city is offering a free online tax service for anyone earning under $58,000/yr. As part of the Annual Tax Credit Campaign, New Yorkers can file online through the One Economy Corporation via nyc.gov/OnlineFreeTaxPrep. The city estimates that over 2.7 million New Yorkers qualify for the service. We just wish we knew about it before we went ahead and filed our returns early like suckers.
It would be like the really sweet guy, that EVERYONE likes (CGAR), announcing that you’re being a shit. Hurts MUCH more than when the guy you’re constantly fighting with (*rob*)and dislike anyway, calls you much worse all the time.

Prez, CGar didn’t tell 11217 to leave or intented his comments to drive him off but fact is CGar’s post triggered the departure.
I don’t dislike CGar or his post. Nothing wrong with him defending a friend he felt needed some defending.
I’m just disappointed 11217 left. I’m also disappointed that he took CGar’s post in that fashion (ie triggering his departure).
