Totally allergic to cats, and totally sneezing at Snappy’s yesterday. But, *rob* and I, die-hard dog lovers and cats-not-so-much, have even been cleaning the damn litter boxes. *rob* and I are wondering, though, if we should be concerned that neither of us has seen an actual cat???
Thanks, Biff. She doesn’t get on line very much. At the moment we have a round-robin doing feeding but may need more volunteers when CarGar starts his new job. (A requisite seems to be that, aside from me, you have to be allergic to cats.)
Arkady, I emailed Snappy the other day and asked her to let me know if I could assist in any possible way. If you speak with her again, please reiterate that offer to her.
Snappy asked me to post this:
Hello everyone! I typically don’t turn into a sappy sue, but I just wanted to take a minute to send my heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you who have sent along condolences and prayers for my family. We all appreciate it so much. I sat back yesterday and marveled at the way so many of you have jumped at the chance to do any and everything you could to help me out during this terrible time. There are not now, nor will there ever be sufficient words to express how much it means to me. We started out as a bunch of strangers who chatted with each other over the most inane things, the most serious world issues and got together over our love of socializing and sipping beer. In my heart, each one of you have become so much more than that. When things go all to hell, you find out who cares about you and who you can really call a friend as opposed to an associate or acquaintance. Each of you have proved yourself to be real friends. It’s both amazing and emotionally uplifting to know that this can be the result of a bunch of widely varied people happening upon the same internet blog. This is a blog community that has truly set itself apart from the standard. It’s nothing short of remarkable. Mr. B, I hope you have some sense of just how special this thing is that you’ve created. I have gained such a great respect and high regard for everyone here. Please know that for all the love and support you’ve been sending out here, just as much is coming back to you. My mom is truly taking comfort in every tale I tell her of how you all are leaping to be of assistance. She no longer thinks this whole blog thing is crazy, nutball stuff…she is the newest fan of Brownstoner Asshats. When I do return to Brooklyn, I’ll have two hugs for each of you…one from me and one from Momma Snappy 🙂 Peace, love and glitter to you all!
CG – As long as there’s box activity & empty bowlies everything can be assumed to be o.k. I’ll leave some Benadryl there today…

Sears, Target & Home Depot all beat estimates today.

Yes, Rob, CarGar and others are tending to the glitter cats.

That gave me goosebumps (Canada Goosebumps, of course)
I heard you and rob are taking care of Pia & Hari.
