Thanks for the condolences, DH, rob and Cobble. I’m really getting tired of needing them. I’m looking forward to congratulations – for getting a book deal, a job, winning lotto, buying the St. Mark’s place, or a getaway house in the Blue Mountains of Jamaica.
Shawl cats are awesome – used to see thsi guy once in a while walk up Lorimer St with a jet black cat perched on his shoulders. he’d make creepy eye contact with everyone they passed.
No rob, I’m getting the ashes. I haven’t decided what to do with them, maybe in the spring or summer, scatter them in the back yard, a place he used to enjoy for a little while, until I stopped letting them go out. They were getting too many fleas from the ferals, and were going on too many walkabouts that involved wandering God knows where. My backyard has several places that lead out to the street, unlike some enclosed blocks, and I was freaking out when they left the yard.

Just come on over, MM, we’re saving a seat for you!
Looks great, they really take care of the place. Haven’t seen them, but will tell them!
They should move the Winter Olympics to the East Coast, where it’s actually cold and snowing.
Yes, rob, everyone should wear live cats as accessories. It’s tres hip. Only problem is they usually don’t cooperate for very long.

Cobble! If you see Jason Henzell or his wife, Laura, please send my love. I didn’t get a chance to write, but will soon. How’s the place look?
