  1. Expert: depends which flavor.

    BHO article got me thinking how weird it is that people are first paying off an unsecured debt because they don’t want to lose immediate access to credit. With the secured debt, the mortgage, it will take much longer for home lender to catch up to you. Flies in the face of the logic behind getting the secured lien — i.e. have something to lose.

    You’re all f*cked.”

    ROFL to you both!

  3. “Wait a cotton pickin’ minute… you all already had your evening? I thought it was on the 11th!”

    2. OF COURSE IT IS THE 11th!! I would NEVER not tell you if we switched gathering dates.

    (iii) Thank you very much! Actually, your draft reminded me I left one thing out of my draft.

  4. I was just reading the Times at lunch. In the sports section they kept talking like the Super Bowl hadn’t taken place yet. This puzzled me.

    I looked at the date – LAST TUESDAY’S EDITION. I had read the entire first section and hadn’t noticed.

    And CGar, please recognize that these are not much more than formality and manners. They aren’t read particularly carefully. Rather like ‘thank you’ notes that must be sent after a dinner party or a small gift is received etc.

    Dear Blank;

    Thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy schedule to meet with me. I so appreciated the opportunity to discuss blank and blank and left the interview feeling even more certain that it was a good fit for me than when I arrived.

    Blank blank blankity blankity blank.

    I would so enjoy the opportunity to speak with you further, and look forward with bells on (no homo) to jumping aboard.

    Best Regards,

    CGar
