is it true the singers / performers doesn’t get paid anything (ie maybe just reimbursement for the stage hands,etc)? is that true? only compensation is the exposure?

I thought the light show was pretty great. Daltry can’t quite hit the notes, but let’s give him a break, he’s 65!!
