  1. My mom never bought that sugary stuff for us, except once: Lucky Charms. I ate the marshmallows and skipped the rest. Too sweet! I had Frosted Flakes at sleepovers but also, totally gross.

    I ate my breakfast of Cheerios dry for all 13 years of schooling. Cinnamon toast on weekends sometimes.

  2. Hey, Cobble, at the risk of sounding like *rob*, was it you who had a good suggestion for directing lost Manhattan people towards Cobble Hill from Borough Hall, or was that jessi?? I can’t remember the suggestion, and I need to give a lost Manhattanite directions.

  3. What the heck are Pop-tarts? Never had them. OMG, I’ve become like my mother. The thought of all those sugary cereals and disgusting superficial foods are turning my stomach.

    When I have kids, they’re not getting any of that crap and 30 yrs later they can post on a blog that their mother ‘depraved’ them.

    We had all that crap! Two or three boxes per shopping trip.
