  2. Actually Makers Mark sounds good right now, but there are warning labels about not mixing it with codeine.

    Last time I looked there were no warning labels on a Makers Mark bottle.

  3. I think that place could probably be had for $600k and it would take $400-500k to get it nice. It’s so damn big that you could leave a few floors for a later date as far as renovating. There was some evidence of updated electrical but I don’t know how thorough. Plumbing looked to be all original.

  4. i just read that in the baltimore public schools students in high school are given a 2 week course called the basics of personal finance. so i guess some school systems ARE actually trying to incorporate that into the classroom, which is definitely good. 2 weeks sounds pretty short, but i guess it’s a start.

  5. Is it just me, or does anyone else instantly recoil and move on when they see a property listed by Awaye Realty? I don’t even bother to look at those listings on StreetEasy.

    m4l, there are some nice condo deals to be had in Williamsburg. You should look there before moving to Manhattan. We need to talk to our boy DH (no homo).
