  1. Thanks Slope! The Soho Kids Art Mus. looks great. $10/per kid is too much for me as I’ll have a boat load (5 kids). I’ll go when I only have 2 or 3.

Thanks Noki. I’m going to run all this by my partner and see what he’s up to doing with brats.

  2. (by the way, just noted that many of you had ‘thrown out a great idea’, and I hadn’t slogged through them in my haste to chime in. Wasn’t just ‘Leige’. Sorry 🙂

  3. Ooooohhh, Slope, I like the way you’re thinking. You could take them to the Triple Eight Palace, which might very well be the coolest dim sum restaurant on the planet, as it is housed right in the western most trunk/base of the Manhattan Bridge. And there is an all-Asian MALL in there. Unbelievably cool.

  4. ExTex,

Leige (I SO want to shorten his name into something jaunty but it just doesn’t work, does it) has thrown out a great idea. Thought I’d chime in.

Our kids love, LOVE, I tell you, going to the Transit Museum in BH. It isn’t too expensive and combined with the store at the end can take some time. The also love to go to Grand Central Station, run around, hit the Transit Museum store, watch the trains there, get pizza, giggle and talk into the ‘whisper wall’, and generally goof off. There are also a couple of fabulous train stores very close by which can’t be underestimated in their power to entertain kids and adults alike. After, you could walk swiftly across town to Toys R Us in Times Square, which truly is unbelievable. And there is a giant dinosaur on the second or third floor that moves and roars and so on. There is also a nearly free fire fighter’s museum right around there… 40’s?
