time for my Mets rants, if Damon is considering signing a $5M contract with As, Rays,… why isn’t my freaking Mets involved in the mix? hello, $5M for a proven bat and leadership, go try to get him PLEASE.

and since yet another melting glacier scandal was uncovered recently in the news with fudged data;
I thought I’d post this little tid bit on global warming:
Antarctic Sea Ice for November 2009 Higher Than 1979

Contrary to media reports Antarctic sea ice continues to expand. Ice totals for November 2009 are significantly higher than 1979 when measurements began. The main stream media concentrates on a couple of small areas of the Antarctic in order to scare you in to believing that Antarctica is melting, when in fact its gaining ice.

by the way, I’m posting from sunny Florida where they recently had a two week cold snap with temperatures below freezing. Although today is a nice and sunny 70 degrees.
DH, if Knicks signed Lee to that 50M contract, they could’ve potentially signed Lebron + Dirk this off-season (assuming Knicks could move fat Curry or Jeffries). Let me be clear, I prefer Dirk over Lee, bosh, stoudemire cause he’s better complement to Lebron than those guys.
super good chance Arenas will be bought out of his contract so he’ll join the mix of free agents but I don’t want him on the team.
I had a wrought iron bracket installed on my back wall & a long arm extends out from it with a pulley system for 4 different kinds of feeders that hang off it so I get a wide variety of birds.
i love this weather. i do not like when it’s like 40 degrees because whether it’s 0 or if it’s 40, the heat is still blasted to tropical heights in my office and what seems like every store i go into. at least when it’s zero, the heat has to work a lot harder and it’s not as disgusting inside.
there is absolutely NO reason why indoors ever need to be above 68 degrees, EVER!

Chickadees, gold & house finches, jays, cardinals, woodpeckers, doves, sparrows, juncos &, rarely, buntings & nuthatches.
