Yes, benson. Listening to all these Democrats pat themselves on te back over this SOTU address is just ridiculous. It’s politics at its lowest level….one guy saying what half the audience wants to hear an d that half clapping and cheering.
Didn’t Joe Biden look really intelligent back there nodding at evrything!!!!
bxgrl, In the 1800’s it wasn’t uncommon for congressmen (there were no congresswomen) to get into fist fights, even duels. In the years leading up to the Civil War there was a famous case of one legislator beating another with his cane on the floor of the senate!
We’re still here…

OMG, can you imagine the 24/7 news coverage!

Yes, I miss those more civilized days, when guys like Alexander Hamilton were killed in a duel.
How will our republic survive this egregious assult on our democracy: Scalia and Thomas blow off a State of the Union address!!!!
Sell everything!!! Buy gold!!!!!!
Stevie is back to his old usual self at 329 Prez street thread. He is totally crazy, attacking 11217 about Wall Street bonuses. Good LOL though.
“Seems like at least 1/2 the chamber wasn’t listening.”
Let me guess……it was those dasterdly Republicans that weren’t listening!!
