Same reason it’s trash, not rubbish…hood, not bonnet, gasoline, not petrol….and beers, not shandies…IT’S AMERICA, NOT BRITAIN.

    Dumb ass limey poofda bastards.

  2. CGar,
right about God of Carnage, it’s a very passive aggressive world when it comes to parents and their children and the PTA and the schools and teachers and all that.

it’s amazing how many parents use their children as pawns or live vicariously through them. I suppose it’s human nature and every parent does to a certain extent.

I really do find that from 0-5, the child is basically a mimic of their parent and that’s not always good.

  3. quote:
current generation of children and young adults have generally not lived through any period of war or hardship

well that’s changed now right? or has it. do young adults in this hard economic time really do anything of worth for others? i mean yeah, okay, they borrow some money from their parents, buy some overpriced rags at a vintage thrift store, then open up speakeasy’s and live in a phoney depression.

i blame the movie Girl, Interupted and such writers as the ones who wrote Prozac Nation. anyone ever have to read that book? it really made me wanna gouge my eyeballs out.

    *rob*

  4. ET! CGar!! No fighting! You two assholes take it outside to the playground. These are the rules- no biting, no spitting, no kicking sand in the face and no breaking of the stilettos. I need them for a dinner party.
