I was at the WTC site this morning, and in particular, in the River Water Pump House. The WTC, like a couple of other buildings in lower Manhattan, takes in river water to be used in cooling the building.
It’s amazing what the scale of things was down there. With the engineering done at the end of the 1960s!
I was very impressed with the Old City and the majestic walls, Legion. My faithful tour guide, Hugo Buitrago Pico (you would have liked him Dave), and I visited La Popa Monastery and Castillo San Felipe among other sites. It’s a wonderful city, very lively with friendly people and as safe as anywhere else.
Thanks all for the kind words. And hey M4L – there’s plenty of eye candy in Colombia, my man! Ai Dio.
I heard the goat IS the team.
mascot? I heard the goat made the team.
Do Mongolians have a team this year? :o)
I wanna volunteer my goat as mascot potential
I’ll be rooting for all the Latin & Central American teams & the Koreans!!!

Ole, ole ole ole, ole, ole.
