Legion- i totally agree with you about Guantanamo- until you get into the White House you aren’t privy to all the information. I feel like we elected a President and really believed yes, we can but Congress and the Supreme Court have other ideas.
Dibs – The cord broke off right at the edge of the transformer – not enough left to splice.
CarGar – I had the same subway experience! Trekked miles at Fulton as they said service was back to normal & only to be told things were still screwed up. An hour & 20 minutes – return trip was 35. (And, sob, I was late for the d-word appt. Oh, dear.)

You should try having a friend waterboard you in the summer.
I’ve seen videos of trained former military people having it done as an experiment, they describe the feeling as overpowering, absolutely horrible, this is from a trained professional who KNOWS they’re not going to die. The feeling of drowning is one of the most psychologically punishing, torturous things someone can have happen to them.
I’d love lower taxes too etson- would anyone argue against that? But not when its unrealistic. The so-called conservatives let it happen on their watch – why should the country trust them now?
Joe- I love real independentstoo. I like a lot of Ron Paul’s work but the We The People Act? No way. It works against everything he supposedly stands for in smaller government. Dennis Kucinich I do like very much.

Also, the Obama decision to move Khalid Sheik Mohammed to NYC for trial is turning out to be a real disaster.
