joe- there are gay couples with adopted kids who can’t ride through several states because those state do not recognize their right to be married or to adopt kids. There was a story about it last year.
I don’t trust the states to decide what is or is not constitutional. There was a time when my interracial marriage would have landed us in jail, despite being legal. There are states that deny women the right to choose. Sorry- Ron Paul did no favors to democracy and that act made him seem more of a wacko than a serious candidate. In fact, I believe history will show that it has been the Federal Government that has has to consistently step in to protect minority rights from the vagaries of states laws, not the other way around.

dibs – so not true, my father (rip) bought $20 worth of lotto tickets every friday along with 2 cartons of Parliments and never won more than $100

NO. And apparently you can’t win either by telling God that you’ll give a lot of it to some poor illegal mexican guys. 🙁
