slopey- there is no normal memory size for jpgs. Most internet photos have a resolution of about 96 but the quality of a photo when its downsized varies greatly depending on the original. Both Mac and PC usually come with a basic photoediting software if you don’t have photoshop or the like. If you have Microsoft Office, look in the tools for Picture Manager.
