I’ve been going to Atlantic Ave for over 20 years.
Sorry, I don’t consider Atlantic Avenue part of Brooklyn Heights (it’s an extension of Bay Ridge). For a long time, Atlantic Avenue was ‘slumpy’ and only recently it’s become what you ‘newbies’ to the nabe consider a hip destination.

Yeah, but who the hell would ever want to go to Bay Ridge to eat other than the people stuck living out there?
And while you’re bashing the Heights, don’t forget all that crappy food on Atlantic between Court and Clinton, ET. Pity the fool that frequents any of those places.
I think THL was confused about benson’s garbage disposal post. THL, he’s referring to the Brooklyn Heights carriage house sale, which rapidly turned into a thread about garbage because the photo shows bags of garbage sullying the front of the $3 million house.
