Rob- it’s not lame at all. It’s very industrial actually and a fascinating combination of machinery, and “Victorian” aesthetic. If you look at the old Louis Hine photos of the building of the Empire St. Building, that’s what it reminds me of. Or clockworks.I don’t like the more florid victorian pieces- I like the pieces that use old watchworks and machine parts. I don’t like them pretty. Too many steampunk artists today are taring it up.
Problem is that Xing and I have reservations at Oshima at 8:00…I’ll be drinking sake later but just too tired right now from too much beer last night at tae Kwon Do (karaoke).

How ’bout skipping the walk, taking the train to Borough Hall, meet us at Heights Chateau and sipping some Tequila, have a burger with us at Henry Public, and we’ll put you in a cab home on Atlantic????? C’mon, it’ll be fun!! And you know you’ll wake up once we get some alcohol into you. I’m nodding off at my desk, so I know how you feel.
