on another note…
why do cookies from Europe almost always taste better than American cookies?
I am addicted to the French brand LU – omg their cookies are so tasty…. especially their little school boy cookies with the whole slab of dark chocolate on top and the biscuit on the bottom

another general financial question for anyone who cares to answer;
– given the run up in precious metals,
is silver a smart move? since you can
still buy it by the pound?
– any random thoughts on Kaufman Fund
and TIAA/CREF?
And Dave scored 600. But not the coveted 400,000. I’m sure Snappy will be back for that.
dammit Dave!

Because they use more butter.
“why do cookies from Europe almost always taste better than American cookies?”
Short answer: Less fake crap in them. More real butter, flavorings.
Gem – They use beet sugar instead of corn syrup & they use butter instead of lard or other shortening.
