I am so sick of this site being a rob romp. really. I’m thrilled she has a 3 bedroom. I hope they up and give her a second apartment too for the same $1000 a month. And food stamps. And free medical care. Honestly- begrudge much?
M4L – he’s quite familiar with JC as I used to live there when we first dated, the area where the house was is super cute on 5th street near coles. treelined quiet little block. I think he just is worried about moving there and never seeing the property value rise. the one thing I noticed about JC is that when I lived there (1998-2003) it was gentrifying and becoming an It place to live, but then BK exploded and I think JC never really peaked.
You don’t know how heavily subsidized her apartment is
You don’t know how much she makes
You don’t know how much her son makes and have no reason to judge why they choose to live together. they’re family- that’s enough reason.
This is a woman who not only works, and so does her son, but has gone out of her way to do something good in the community.Why anyone feels the need to bash her or her son is beyond me.

Well, if they make enough money to afford a normal apartment then they shouldn’t be in a subsidized project.
Just because Charlie rangel gets away with it doesn’t make it right for others.
But they certainly DO NOT deserve a subsidized three bedroom.
