there IS ABSOLUTELY something VERY wrong with her living in a 3 bedroom apartment with her grown ass son. fine. id like a 4 bedroom apartment for me and my dog please!
arrrghh, more change of planes. Now going downtown later in evening, and then dinner. Anyone can recommend a place on Atlantic?
Thanks Legion. Are you a doctor or do you just play one on this blog?
I had blood work done last week and will see Doctor next week, he’ll give me results.
“I am so sick of this site being a rob romp. really. I’m thrilled she has a 3 bedroom. I hope they up and give her a second apartment too for the same $1000 a month. And food stamps. And free medical care. Honestly- begrudge much?”
bxgrl, there seem to be quite a few people who agree with *rob* on this one. I don’t begrudge her at all. I think it’s great she and her son want to live together. But NOT at taxpayer expense. He’s 31. Let him go out and get his own apartment.
I’m the first to say I don’t mind paying taxes. I’ve been very fortunate in life, and I’m all too happy to help those less fortunate. But what makes me a centrist/moderate Democrat and not a far left Democrat is that at some point enough is enough.
And it seems to me that a 1-bedroom apartment, subsidized by taxpayers, is more than enough for Mrs. Flowers.
yep! and you know what my grandmother did when she didnt NEED a two bedroom apartment in the projects? that’s right, she up and left and let that 2 bedroom go to a family who NEEDED it.
no chicken. im not a system hater. and i think the system does work when it comes to public housing, but in situations like this is is clearly wrong. there are over 300,000 people on the waiting list to get into public housing. THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND! youre telling me that there might not be a more deserving family in tht group of 300000 people that might NEED a three bedroom? im sorry this woman needs to having a freaking stoop sale, get rid of her junk, kick out her son, and move on. the projects arent there for your entire life lady, stop being a leech.

Rob, when housing kicks out the list of worst offenders than this lady is fair game. until then, nothing wrong with her living there.

Rob is certainly entitled to his opinion as he:
lived as a youngin in public housing
pays his taxes
I second Dibs, a great maggie quote.
