  1. Cobble, did you hate the BlackBerry or the evil boss???

I can’t believe I’m getting sucked into this conversation again (Biff!!!), but I love my BlackBerry Curve, and, except for the few recent email outages, service is great. I have no trouble reading the OT on the subway or while walking the CDog. And it makes great phone calls too.

Who reads the Times for an electronics review?

Android phones in the US can’t do multi-touch because Apple holds the patent here. (or so I’ve heard)

I dont think lack of itunes is a bad thing, i personally hate itunes. the music software on android is very good, but I wont say its the best.

Android does have less apps, but will catch up soon as more folks buy android phones

The Nexus one has a 1ghz processor in it. Many netbooks don’t have that.

I do agree that internal partition for apps should be bigger, but it took me a year to max out the 60mb that G1 has

Dont mean to be contrary, but i just really love Android and dont get why iphone gets all the praise

  3. “My doctor converted his practice to a “concierge practice” in December.”

    I can see it now.

“Doc, I’m experiencing sharp, shooting pains up and down my leg. Can you please prescribe me some pain killers and find me two orchestra level tickets to The Lion King?”

  4. I loved Mario’s pizza pies best, too. He totally does. He’d been working for almost as long as I’ve been alive. I think he’s liking being retired, but I think he also likes to still be connected to the place.

Dunno, I still have not been to Lucali, we’ve been meaning to try it forever, too.

    CGar, I’ll go look!

  5. “if you knew where I was then it wouldn’t be a vacation””

    EXACTLY, legion!

    Hi Cobble,

that was The Chicken’s post quoting from Mission Impossible. I think it was the scene where he’s climbing up the side of a 1000 foot cliff with his bare hands and reaches the top to find a helicopter waiting with his next mission.
    nice vacation. lol.

  6. But CGar, when I jokingly asked “What’s a sandhog” yesterday, nobody responded so I thought I was safe. I will know now not to ask about car insurance, health insurance and cats going forward.

  7. “more and more doctors will limit their patient number.
more and more doctors will charge fee for service.

the boutique practice model charges a set group of patients an “entry fee” for remaining a patient of that doctor’s”

Legion’s right. My doctor converted his practice to a “concierge practice” in December. But I really like him, and I’ve been going to him for 14 years, so I’m giving it a shot for a year.

  8. I did, Dave. And I looked through her comments and literally every single one was negative!!

    SHE is the ULTIMATE frownstoner!!

And you were correct…I saw zero pictures with a chair rail molding. I used to think Minard was the ultimate snob, but this chick takes the cake!

  9. “Must be nice to be able to have a vacay without having to bring along the BB.”

I think people should get paid extra to be connected while on vacation. It’s just not relaxing.
