Ok I’m not sure if anyone out there is from staten island and I doubt most of you watch bridezillas (for very good reasons), but I found myself watching this beeyotch the other night and boy is she a catch!
I like the one wall different color thing. I may do it in my living room. I want a dark gray wall or a chocolate wall in there. My living room is way too small and has no windows so it can’t handle the dark color on all the walls.
I agree Dave. I’m not a fan of painting one wall a different color than rest of room.
Our apt. is open in feel and not traditional (no crown mouldings). My living room is 12’x22′ and the dining area, 10’x16′ opens to it. I told him the only wall, I’d agree to a different bright color is behind the dining table and ONLY if I can paint it to look like it’s ‘framed’; meaning the bright color is offset from the walls, ceiling and floor.
Then I’ll throw food on the wall and call it artwork.
I used to watch Bridezillas all the time! Some of those women crack me up.
Before I forget, who’s going on the No Pants Subway Ride? http://improveverywhere.com/2010/01/04/no-pants-subway-ride-2010-details-for-new-york/

“I may just build my own headboard and footboard and stain it myself.”
Spoken like a true lesbian.
“I have a deep espresso colored shelving cabinet against one wall. Love that color.”
