We’ve only got one more post scheduled for today and then we’re going to take a much-needed break from blogging for the week. But, have no fear, the lights will stay on around here: Montrose Morris is going to take over next week as guest blogger in residence. There won’t be quite as much content as usual but there will be plenty to keep everyone busy. Have a great Christmas and New Year!

  1. I mean on some level all groups look down on/insult each other but I just thought it was funny that jessibaby seems to encounter this particular enough for it to really weigh on her mind.

  2. Jaanese characters are the EXACT same as Chinese.

Not exactly, Dave. Only the “kanji” part of their characters, which are used for place, person names, etc, are the same as traditional chinese characters. Their alphabets equivalents, Hiragana and Katagana, are home grown and a derivative of older chinese characters that their buddhist monks brought back from China.

  3. It’s really bizarre to me when korean americans insult the filipinos and call them jungle asians.

I thought jungle asians are the Hmong people of Laos? They literally live in the mountains and jungles of Laos and live a hunter-gatherer lifestyle.

  4. The Japanese absolutely hate Koreans that live in japan and they will blame everything on them. Funny think though, since Japan is an island, the japanese had to originate from somewhere.

Hmmmm, where could that somewhere originally have been???

Filipinos are the “maids and domestic help” throught all of Asia. They are referred to as “Amahs” in HK and technically are OCWs…Overseas Contract Workers, the largest revenue source for the country of the Philippines.
